We are an organization of emerging digital content creators. We train and share resources with other media creators so they can grow in their craft and make a sustainable living off of their work.

Joel Mark Witt

Joel Mark Witt is a producer, speaker, and new media leader. He is the founder and Chief Architect of Folk Media. Joel consults with business and organizations on how to implement social media like podcasts, online videos, blogs, and social networks to increase profits and sales.

Joel is the producer and host of The Folk Media Show – a weekly podcast discussing new ways of using media to empower great storytelling. He is also the Creator and Executive Producer of MarylandZoo.TV for The Maryland Zoo and the Co-creator and Executive Producer for The Legend of Molehill Mountain on the GIMP.TV network.

Joel currently lives in Baltimore, MD with his wife, Megan, and two sons, Gunnar and Sawyer.

Jordan Brauner

Jordan Brauner is an audio and video producer with a deep passion for finding and telling great stories. “Child-like” tendencies of thinking unconventionally about the conventional is something he hopes to never grow out of.

Jordan is the Chief Creative Officer of Folk Media where he focuses on building and developing high quality podcasts. He is the Producer of Willow Bend – an audio documentary show that covers everything over and under the sun. He is also the Co-Creator and Producer of The Legend of Molehill Mountain on GIMP.TV.

Jordan lives in Columbia, MD with his camcorder and field recorder.
